[00:00:01] Speaker A: You're gonna have to do that again.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: Why?
[00:00:03] Speaker A: Because it was before the countdown ended.
[00:00:05] Speaker B: Ah, bummer.
[00:00:07] Speaker A: The gun. What is up? Hey, everybody. Welcome to Indiana Success Happy Hour.
I am Brian Quinlan. I'm a realtor with Daniels Real Estate. I also happen to do a YouTube show called First Home Indie.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: I love that show, by the way. Thank you. Thank you. I'm Brad with the Nest Mortgage Group, and I happen to do a little show on the Internet called Tasting Tequila with Brad.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: Before we get into this, your shirt is super cool. And it's hard to see, you know, from way back there, but this looks like spots. Yeah. But I see skulls. I see what looks like tequila bottles.
It's a full on blue agave plant. Yeah, that's really cool. Where'd this shirt come from?
[00:00:47] Speaker B: My wife killed it.
[00:00:48] Speaker A: She's seen rope.
[00:00:50] Speaker B: Is it Roebuck? Is that how you say it? R, O, B, A, C, tk Sure. Great golf shirts.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: Really?
[00:00:56] Speaker B: They. They feel good. Stretchy.
They have.
[00:01:00] Speaker A: On the golf course, probably.
[00:01:02] Speaker B: I don't know.
They had a whole Cinco de Mayo series of shirts and she's seen them. The other one was a green. A little green agaves all over.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: Yeah, that's cool.
[00:01:10] Speaker B: And, yeah, so I have a dress up shirt that I. I'm. I'm still Tequila.
[00:01:16] Speaker A: That's awesome.
[00:01:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I think I want to do a line of Tasting Tequila with Brad golf shirts that are like this with my little logo right here.
[00:01:23] Speaker A: Oh, can I. Can I just figure that out?
[00:01:25] Speaker B: Can I.
[00:01:25] Speaker A: Can I have one?
[00:01:26] Speaker B: You can have one.
[00:01:27] Speaker A: Where the hell out of that?
[00:01:28] Speaker B: Actually, the fifth person to make a comment on the video gets a free one when we come out with the shirts.
[00:01:33] Speaker A: Well, that's cool.
[00:01:34] Speaker B: I don't know when that'll be.
[00:01:35] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:01:36] Speaker B: It may be four or five years down the road.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: Take all that YouTube money you're bringing in and order some shirts.
[00:01:41] Speaker B: Yeah, big time.
[00:01:42] Speaker A: All right, well, what are you drinking?
All right, so this. It's May. It's today and Indy. May, baby. And I was at Total Wine this week and I saw this beer. It's Speedway City beer.
[00:01:55] Speaker B: I love it.
[00:01:56] Speaker A: It's got a old time Indy car on there.
[00:01:59] Speaker B: See that? Oh, yeah, yeah. That's a Rahu Runes car. Sure.
[00:02:03] Speaker A: And light lager from Pax Verum out of Lapel, Indiana. I've had a few Pax Verum beers on the show. They always have very cool designs on the cans.
And that certainly drew my attention. I'm like, wait a minute, we're recording this week. It's May. That's. That's the beer to have. And as you can tell, that is a light beer. Yeah.
[00:02:24] Speaker B: Like when they said light lager, it's like, that's.
[00:02:27] Speaker A: They're not kidding. Wow. Yeah.
[00:02:28] Speaker B: Crazy.
[00:02:29] Speaker A: That's light.
[00:02:29] Speaker B: Is it good?
[00:02:30] Speaker A: Did you taste it? I. You know, tastes like many other light lagers I've had. I'll. I'll drink the hell out of that.
[00:02:35] Speaker B: All right.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: That's great. I see some paladar over there.
[00:02:38] Speaker B: Yeah. I just got the opportunity to do an interview with Neat.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: With Pete Nolan. Glossy.
[00:02:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:47] Speaker B: I probably said, hola, Pete. Pete's a great guy. He. He actually, he has this brand. He first started with bringing in a Chasa, which is a Brazilian rum, sugar cane type spirit.
[00:02:57] Speaker A: I like Room.
[00:02:58] Speaker B: And he also owns Rare Character, which is a whiskey brand. And if you're a whiskey guy or a bourbon guy, you may have seen the phenomenon out there right now. I got that dog in me.
[00:03:08] Speaker A: Okay.
I'll go shopping for it.
[00:03:11] Speaker B: It is a Costco single barrel.
[00:03:13] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:03:14] Speaker B: So it's an 85 bottle of bourbon from Costco. Yeah. That they picked for Costco and Costco wanted to put on the label. I got that dog in me, and it says the $50 hot dog, and that's actually on the logo. And that bottle sold out immediately at 85 a bottle.
And you can find them now all over the Internet for somewhere between 30, 1300, and $1500 a bottle. It is. It is like the bourbon thing that people are talking about. And yeah, it's. I got that dog in me.
[00:03:43] Speaker A: Well, that's. That's high quality.
[00:03:44] Speaker B: Yeah. So that's Pete's company, Palador. I just did an interview with pete on my YouTube channel. Check it out. We talked about his rise of creating Chivasa and bringing that to the stage as one of the first people. And then meeting up with the Oren Dines and creating this amazing tequila. And this one actually is aged really cool. It's. It's in what's called Ambaramba barrels, which is a Brazilian oak, and it just brings out this amazing cinnamon flavor. And they did a special thing because it's made where they make arete at the or distillery. So to make it different, they built these giant pine vats and they ferment everything in pine.
So it's a. A little bit different process than the rest of the tequila there. They. They tie all these strings around here.
[00:04:27] Speaker A: That's cool.
[00:04:28] Speaker B: This is the actual dirt fields where they grow the agave.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: Something on the bottom There.
[00:04:33] Speaker B: Yeah. He said the old process, they would dip them in it. And he's like, it was very laborious.
That's a word he said. So now it's actually a spray of actual soil. So you're getting. You're bringing home some Jalisco.
Delightful. And I am drinking this out of.
[00:04:49] Speaker A: Wait a minute. Let's just do that. Come back to that.
Whoa, that made a.
[00:04:54] Speaker B: Do that again.
[00:04:55] Speaker A: Dingy.
All right. I like your little cup there.
Yeah.
[00:05:03] Speaker B: So the guys from villa38.com sent me these and asked me if I would try them out. So in Mexico, one of the forms of drinking
[00:05:16] Speaker A: products. Yeah. Okay. Beverages.
[00:05:18] Speaker B: I was looking for a word vessel. A drinking vessel.
[00:05:22] Speaker A: Yeah, There you go.
[00:05:23] Speaker B: Is what's called a capita. And when you're. When you're in the mezcal world, you. You see a lot of these little glasses, but they're very hard, though.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:30] Speaker B: It's time to drink out of that is difficult.
[00:05:32] Speaker A: So tiny.
[00:05:33] Speaker B: They actually did something from the Japanese sake glasses, which gives you this handle and they put a capita at the top of it. And this is all made in Mexico, handcrafted.
Very, very culture rich. And they sent them to me and asked me if I would try them out. And I was like, yeah. And they're great. You get a great nose off of them. They're. They're really easy to drink out of.
[00:05:56] Speaker A: They're easy to hold and nifty.
[00:05:58] Speaker B: They look beautiful. Right. That's just really cool looking. So, yeah. Thanks. Villa318.com Appreciate it.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: That's, yeah.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: Super cool. Little cup with some power.
Well, as you'll see if you look to that side of Brian, there's not a guest.
[00:06:15] Speaker A: We don't have a guest today. It's a. It's a solo. Funny. I call it a solo episode. There are two of us. Solo solo show. Just us.
[00:06:23] Speaker B: We haven't done one of these in a while.
[00:06:24] Speaker A: That is true.
[00:06:25] Speaker B: So we. We probably need to catch up on what's going on. What's going on with you?
[00:06:29] Speaker A: Well, my world of real estate has been a bit sluggish.
That doesn't mean I'm not doing anything. I actually have a closing coming up this week, and I've got one family I've been showing a lot of houses to lately.
But, you know, they're. They're in a position where they can be picky and. And they are. And God bless them, because, you know, it's not an impulse purchase. So, you know, just what it is and story today was interest rates shot up the highest they'd been in over a month. And you know, you see stuff like that and that affects people's thought process when it comes to home buying and the war still going on and gas prices are five bucks and all that affects things and you know, it is what it is.
[00:07:12] Speaker B: Yeah, there's a lot of uncertainty.
My, my business was start up really slow and a lot of people jumped in and started looking when interest rates started to come down. You know, we were starting to see that slide before, before the war and those people have bought homes now. So I'm really, really busy. April, a good march of a phenomenal May in place and the, the pre approvals have slowed down a little bit. But I, I do think there's two things that people have settled in on. The people that want to buy a house have settled in on that rates are what they are and homes cost what they cost. I, I am not hearing people say I'm waiting till house prices come down.
[00:07:54] Speaker A: That's good.
[00:07:54] Speaker B: Like we were hearing that a lot. Oh yeah, like it's gonna crash, right. And then now the people are like,
[00:08:00] Speaker A: oh, so we're here.
[00:08:01] Speaker B: Okay. Blew the last three years of waiting and you know, I still get the rate conversation. You know, people aren't happy about rates in the sixes, but I, I put a post out the other day that got a, a little bit of traction where I put a chart of what the average rates are, you know, over the last 50 years.
And you know, there's, there's a couple of dips, but seeing rates in the sixes are pretty consistent. I, I do have this feeling though that if they just wrap this Iran thing up, like, I think things are going to rapidly get better.
[00:08:36] Speaker A: I hope so.
[00:08:38] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean I, I guess I, what somebody said, you know, there's 1500 ships, you know, with oil sitting in one place that need to go throughout the world. And you know, there was a guy on the news that said, you know, once this is over, gas prices are drop like that. And the guy said, well, 1500 ships got to travel for eight months to get the fuel where it goes or the oil where it goes and then they gotta refine it. But it, but I do think the idea of the fact that it's over will help.
[00:09:06] Speaker A: It's psychological, mental. Yeah, you know, there's changes, people's thought process.
I think hope comes up a bit. I think, you know, optimism comes up.
I'm sure people are going to think, oh, war's over, gas prices are going to go down, like you just said, and that's not going to happen. So if you're thinking that, just know it's going to be a while, it'll
[00:09:25] Speaker B: happen, it'll happen overnight.
[00:09:26] Speaker A: It's going to be a while.
[00:09:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:09:27] Speaker A: It's just the way oil prices work.
[00:09:29] Speaker B: But, but I definitely see us getting back to the, you know, the $2 and $3 gas that we were at once oil's moving again.
[00:09:36] Speaker A: It'll be a while.
[00:09:37] Speaker B: But yeah, I didn't see nice 50 ships were headed to. To America to load up with oil. Did you see that?
[00:09:45] Speaker A: I didn't see a number, but I knew ships were on their way.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: 50 ships on their way to load up with American oil because we're producing oil.
[00:09:50] Speaker A: Yeah, I have been for a while.
[00:09:52] Speaker B: Venezuela is. Their oil is now going to be open to the market as well. So ships are heading there.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: So there's, there's the way I understand Venezuelan oil needs a lot more.
[00:10:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it's what I heard too.
[00:10:03] Speaker A: Yeah. It's more of a dirty kind of oil. So I don't know how quickly. I don't know how good that is
[00:10:08] Speaker B: that because they got to get all the cocaine out of it.
[00:10:10] Speaker A: There could be.
Could be.
So you had mentioned pricing, so I pulled up statistics that here we are in at the beginning of May. So I have statistics for my boar through the end of April. And this is Marion County. So for those of you who don't know, that'd be Indianapolis specifically.
So median sale price last month was 260,000. Which. Man, if you said that to many states in the country, they'd be like 260. That's incredible.
[00:10:40] Speaker B: Why do you think they're all moving here?
[00:10:41] Speaker A: Right.
Which actually was up 4% from the previous month. So that's kind of a typical increase in pricing in real estate Overall anyways. And 260. I understand median means middle. I understand the mathematical term of it, but it gives you an idea. You know, we're not overpriced now. It's all relative to everybody. And you know, what you can afford and what you think is expensive. Well, that's, you know, your world. But I'm giving you the math.
[00:11:10] Speaker B: Can you do Hamilton County?
[00:11:12] Speaker A: I can't not. This is a ugly.
[00:11:14] Speaker B: Yeah, I didn't know if you were in the. I could.
[00:11:16] Speaker A: It'll take me a little while, but no, I'm not in the system.
But one thing that I take as useful, the median days on market last month was 3:13.
[00:11:27] Speaker B: See, so that, that is not a. That's Not a buyer's market.
[00:11:30] Speaker A: 13 and that is down. Well, I guess it's an improvement depending on which side. You're looking at 23% over the previous month. So the previous month was like, oh, I was in the, I don't know, high 20s, low 30s. I forget what the actual number was. Obviously I could figure that out. But homes median, middle obviously selling in less than two weeks. Now what I am finding in my world is yes, there are homes sitting on the market for lots of days. Okay, 50, 60. It's not unusual for me to look online and see a home that's been there for 70, 80 days. If a home is in good condition in a desirable area, it's going to sell fast if it's priced correctly. Correct. I'll say. Sean had a home listed in Perry Township area. 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. I looked at the photos. Really nice. 250,000.
Dude. Sold in a day.
[00:12:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:12:27] Speaker A: And then with no marketing at all. Because you know it's priced right.
[00:12:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:12:32] Speaker A: And that price is super popular as it is anyways. So you know, if you're looking to potentially sell your house, things you have to consider is number one, you got to price it right. You can't just come in with this thought, you know, my home down the street sold for this. My house is better than that. So I'm just going to go higher than that. Doesn't necessarily work that way. Condition. What do you need to do to your house to get it ready to go so that it sells at an optimal price in an optimal time period? There's a lot that goes into it.
[00:12:59] Speaker B: So if your realtor gives you a price of where you should list it at, you shouldn't go 50,000 above.
[00:13:04] Speaker A: Yeah, I wouldn't do that. And you know realtors, they're ideally anyways using statistics, they're using information, they know the market.
At least they should. To give you an idea of what is fair market value for your house. Not just fair market value, but fair market value that's going to get it
[00:13:21] Speaker B: sold and what it's going to appraise for.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: Oh, that's a huge part of it.
[00:13:24] Speaker B: Yeah. You can sell it for more than it doesn't appraise.
[00:13:26] Speaker A: Yeah. And the appraisals depend on similar homes that are in the general area of where you live.
That's what's going to determine, you know, kind of the actual pricing of your house. So I mean I had a house that sat on the market for, I don't know, 120, 130 days.
[00:13:44] Speaker B: They fired you.
[00:13:45] Speaker A: They did. Guess what? The realtor, they, they put. The realtor put it back on the market at the exact same price.
[00:13:51] Speaker B: It's about to get fired.
[00:13:52] Speaker A: It is a hundred percent still sitting there, not moving. I don't know what kind of traction it's getting, but it ain't doing nothing. So. And you know, just gotta be smart about how you're gonna price it. And I'm not saying realtors are always correct in their pricing. I have been wrong about pricing. People have sold homes for more than I suggested they sell it at.
That happens. But we are the professionals in the field and our advice, you know, should be considered when you're thinking about what you're price your house.
So there's that.
[00:14:23] Speaker B: That's awesome. And I agree with you because I, I hear things all the time, mostly from agents. You know, I told them 325. They said 375.
They fired me after 90 days with no showings. They listed it for 375 and they got it reduced to 350. And then it sold above what they reduced it from because it became a bidding more because it should have been listed at 350.
I hear that all the time.
[00:14:48] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. But I'm also a homeowner and my goal is to make as much money as I can from my house. So I understand.
People have their opinions, they have their thoughts, they have their reasons why their house should be a certain price that makes sense in their head.
[00:15:06] Speaker B: And my favorite dogs are buried in the backyard.
[00:15:08] Speaker A: This place is worth way more for sure. You know, and for me, it's a business transaction. It is, yeah. For them it's, there's emotion involved because it's their house. And that's. You know, I had a conversation with somebody the other day, you know, like that. I'm a realtor, but in my role as a realtor, I'm a marriage counselor. I'm a psychologist, I'm a teacher.
I wear many hats as a realtor. And one of those is counseling people when they have their opinion about the pricing of a house.
Okay, but here's what I suggest. Here's what I have. You know, you stand a better chance here. But hey, it's your house, not my house, not my money.
[00:15:46] Speaker B: Yeah, I agree. I my, the value of my house went up because of my new neighbors.
[00:15:50] Speaker A: Oh yeah.
[00:15:52] Speaker B: We just had one of the best guests on the show in a while.
[00:15:54] Speaker A: It's good.
[00:15:56] Speaker B: Chris did a great job.
[00:15:57] Speaker A: You know, you had forwarded me an email Somebody had watched that show and was really inspired and said, you know, what they took out of it was, you know, this.
And that person's probably going to be a guest on our show, so that's cool.
[00:16:09] Speaker B: And I ended up with a great neighbor.
Like, I'm so excited, and I look
[00:16:14] Speaker A: forward to future gatherings here at your house with Chris. And they're gonna get. And his cooking, they're gonna get loud, too.
[00:16:20] Speaker B: Oh, that's gonna be a lot of cooking. I like guns getting shot off.
[00:16:24] Speaker A: Well, all right. Fireworks blowing up. Oh, you know, I love me some fireworks.
[00:16:27] Speaker B: He just bought two new guitars.
[00:16:28] Speaker A: Oh, sweet tunes. That's awesome.
[00:16:31] Speaker B: Well, we. We have a trip coming up that I'm pretty excited.
[00:16:34] Speaker A: We do on my birthday. Did you.
[00:16:36] Speaker B: I knew it was your birthday.
[00:16:37] Speaker A: Got that marked down or.
[00:16:38] Speaker B: Yeah. I'm trying to think of something more special than getting you a free trip to Mexico. Like, I feel like that was.
[00:16:44] Speaker A: That's pretty solid.
Yeah, I. So yeah, on my birthday, we are flying down to Guadalajara and then hopping in some sort of a vehicle to
[00:16:54] Speaker B: take us to the town of Tequila.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: Town of Tequila. We're gonna go behind the scenes with Jose Cuervo.
[00:17:01] Speaker B: We are diving into the belly of the beach.
[00:17:03] Speaker A: They're the biggest tequila company in the world.
[00:17:05] Speaker B: Number one. Yeah.
[00:17:06] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:06] Speaker B: 1.9 million liters sold a year that sell more tequila than anybody else.
And they've invited us to the transparency tour. The. Come see how we do it.
Ask any question.
I needed a really good video. Videographer.
[00:17:22] Speaker A: I get to be the videographer. And I'll be honest. I. I can do that well, so. And I'm looking forward to. Somebody had said, you know, the videographer gets the best access. You know, they let me go and maybe into places to do some videoing that other people may not. We're walking into. I'm excited.
[00:17:38] Speaker B: We may stand inside of it.
[00:17:39] Speaker A: Oh, all right. I am in.
[00:17:42] Speaker B: Probably.
[00:17:43] Speaker A: I look forward to the videography that you're gonna get out of this.
[00:17:46] Speaker B: But you know what I'm most excited about, because you. You know how much I love this tequila stuff. Stuff. And this would not be happening if it wasn't for you. That's why I really wanted you to bring you on this trip. But I. I can't wait for you to meet the people, to see the culture and what I love so much about this place. And as much as you don't like tequila, I think you're going to dig it.
We're going to.
[00:18:13] Speaker A: I'll probably learn a lot.
[00:18:14] Speaker B: And we're Going to, we're going to. You know, you have an okay tour guide. When we're done with the Cuervo stuff, I'm gonna try to get as much time as we can to go see our friends.
[00:18:25] Speaker A: All right.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: To Esquete. Go to El Meso, have some great drinks. Go where they make the original the tenga, where they take the knife and just shove it in the drink with the limes and hang out on the, on the square in tequila. But we, we are gonna get, we're gonna go to the fields, we're gonna watch humidoras, actually cultivate and harvest agave. So that'll be cool for you to see. And then we're gonna go into this giant distillery that I've never been in. Distillery number 25 for me.
[00:18:55] Speaker A: Oh, wow, that's cool.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: So very cool. So did you upgrade?
I did. Did you upgrade first class on the last flight?
[00:19:02] Speaker A: I did. Hot dog. First class.
[00:19:05] Speaker B: I was so excited that you called and said, hey, there's upgrades available.
[00:19:10] Speaker A: Well, you know, I thought, you know, I. It's really a business trip, right. And I, I've got a business card and a small business that I run, so you know what? I think my small business needs to upgrade me because the rest of the trip is paid for, so.
[00:19:25] Speaker B: Well, I'm glad you did because this would be the first time that I had set back there in a while.
[00:19:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:19:34] Speaker B: So I'm excited about you seeing it. That one of the things I'm really excited about for you. But I don't know that you're going to dig it as much as the food.
[00:19:43] Speaker A: Well, you know, vacation Brian eats differently. Okay.
[00:19:47] Speaker B: Because I seen you eat like octopus feet and shark butt on your last
[00:19:52] Speaker A: fermented shark in Iceland.
That was a thing. I ate some puffin, some horse, so.
Horse. And so as I say, Was that at McDonald's? No, no, did not. Actually, I did not see a single McDonald's while I was there.
Subway I saw, but not McDonald's. But vacation Brian eats differently. So we'll try some stuff.
[00:20:14] Speaker B: I'm gonna say that food wise, some of this like we eat Mex. You like Mexican food now, right? I do. Okay, so certain.
What's the one that is just like a cheese roll up?
[00:20:30] Speaker A: No, actually I probably don't even need that.
[00:20:32] Speaker B: Okay, so I need you to be vacation Brian.
[00:20:34] Speaker A: Yeah, that's fine.
[00:20:34] Speaker B: But everything you're gonna eat, it's. It's all amazing. And I mean, you're not going to eat brain or tongue, those kind of things. Although you can like those, I'm sure. But the. The restaurants and the food that's available is just on another level. And it is so amazing. And fortunately, we don't pay for any of it.
[00:20:54] Speaker A: Hey, let's go.
[00:20:56] Speaker B: It's even better evening stuff that I'll. I'll take care of everything that we go do afterwards, but.
[00:21:00] Speaker A: Excellent.
[00:21:01] Speaker B: I think you're gonna really enjoy it, and I'm super glad that you said yes to your go. Do they sell beer there?
[00:21:08] Speaker A: Corona Cervez. Ah, they got do better than Corona. Lots of Mexican beer soul. It's one of my favorite.
Oh, I love that.
[00:21:16] Speaker B: I can't drink beer, you know, so I've lost track of all the.
[00:21:19] Speaker A: That's fine.
[00:21:20] Speaker B: But you're.
Your Tequila experience, I think is going to really change, like, your how I feel about tequila. Tequila out.
[00:21:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:32] Speaker B: Because you're going to be in the culture.
[00:21:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:34] Speaker B: It's like when. It's like when you went to the Hoodie and the Blowfish concert and Darius started playing some of the Darius Rutger songs.
[00:21:41] Speaker A: So he doesn't do that.
[00:21:42] Speaker B: Oh, I like these.
[00:21:43] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:43] Speaker B: I.
[00:21:44] Speaker A: There was only one time where Hoodie played Wagon Whale.
[00:21:48] Speaker B: Of course.
[00:21:49] Speaker A: That's it.
[00:21:49] Speaker B: I know the rest are. Who sucks in. You're like, okay, I like country music.
[00:21:53] Speaker A: I hear that song. I'm like, you know what? I actually like that. So.
[00:21:56] Speaker B: And I think that's what's going to happen.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Well, that's now in my lineup.
We're making up words. I don't like it. That's awesome. Well, you know what else happens this month, which is actually before we even leave for Mexico.
Indy 500. Yeah. Yeah. So this weekend is the Grand Prix.
[00:22:14] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:22:15] Speaker A: And then next week, who's gonna win the Grand Prix? Dude, I don't even know if that was in the Grand Prix other than the IndyCar drivers don't. Did they bring in some NASCAR guys, too, to do Grand Prix?
Same guys. Well, I'm picking Alex Palo Alto. He's picking him for everything.
[00:22:31] Speaker B: But who's going to win the Indy 500?
[00:22:33] Speaker A: It's going to be Connor Daly this year. This is the one we should work.
[00:22:37] Speaker B: We should do some type of giveaway of Connor Daily wins.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: Oh, wow.
Can we get an autograph thing from Connor?
[00:22:43] Speaker B: Yes. Okay, so we'll give away an autograph. Something from Connor Daly if Connor Daily wins.
[00:22:49] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:22:49] Speaker B: We'll be able to make that happen.
[00:22:51] Speaker A: All right.
[00:22:51] Speaker B: Now, here's one thing that will happen is we won't be able to get him back on the show. If he wins.
[00:22:56] Speaker A: That's true.
[00:22:57] Speaker B: And maybe after he's done doing.
[00:23:00] Speaker A: Done with the season and there's a big office.
[00:23:02] Speaker B: Good Morning America.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: Yeah, sure.
[00:23:04] Speaker B: I was gonna say. But he won't be on anymore. He probably won't be on anymore either.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: He'll hop over here after he talks to Good Morning America.
[00:23:12] Speaker B: Wouldn't that be awesome? Oh, you just got done Good Morning America.
[00:23:15] Speaker A: Well, I'll do Good Morning America, then. I'll go do McAfee show.
[00:23:17] Speaker B: Oh, we could get him out.
[00:23:18] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:23:19] Speaker B: Maybe he could bring Pat.
[00:23:20] Speaker A: That would be great.
[00:23:21] Speaker B: Oh, we would love that. We probably wouldn't even talk to Connor.
[00:23:25] Speaker A: Hey, Connor, Good to see it.
[00:23:26] Speaker B: Then we would. Yeah, we would love to have Connor back. I'm thankful that he did that.
[00:23:29] Speaker A: That's. Dude, that was great show.
[00:23:30] Speaker B: Yeah, it's awesome. Super fun.
[00:23:32] Speaker A: What else, man?
[00:23:34] Speaker B: I just don't know. I think. I think we've probably come to the end of the evening already. Boy.
[00:23:38] Speaker A: Well, all right.
[00:23:39] Speaker B: I will say this. I want to tell everybody to watch next week's episode.
[00:23:43] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, definitely. We have a. A guest for Success Happy Hour there. Indiana Success Happy Hour. Get it right, Brian.
That we could have talked to him for two, three hours.
[00:23:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:58] Speaker A: Talk about a guy who had no idea what he was getting into when he got into his first business. He says on the show had no intention of this being my life.
And he just.
One of the things he says on the show is people will tell you all the time when you want to start a business or start something is to start small, have a little bit of success, and then grow from there or see if you like it or whatever. And he said his philosophy has always been, nope, I'm going all in. And he flat out jumped all in.
And he has owned and sold multiple businesses, traveled the world, seems to have retired at a relatively early age, and is a great entrepreneur story.
[00:24:44] Speaker B: Super humble.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: Yes, yes.
[00:24:46] Speaker B: Most of the time, when I meet people that have the financial success that he has had, you.
[00:24:53] Speaker A: You kind of get.
[00:24:54] Speaker B: You kind of know, right? There's, like, this air about them. Yeah, that's exactly what I was gonna say. And he. He came in the door like, dude, he was so excited. And Dave just. He has a great story. And if. If I'm gonna say, if you watch it, bring a notepad and try to sit down and write down all the. The success nuggets that he drops in it, because there are so many. And that's really what we want this show about. It's. It's really about how can you watch this show and learn how you could potentially take your life and your business to that next level? And if, say, you're just working for somebody and you have this dream of owning your own business, hopefully you can get inspired by some of these people that make you go, man, if they can do it, I can do it.
[00:25:39] Speaker A: You know, I just met Dave, and from the little I know about him, I'm 100 sure he's a very giving person.
So when you watch the show, if you are thinking of somebody who could benefit from the show, share the episode. You know, I. I think about my kids who are 26 and 22, and neither of them really seems to have the goal of being an entrepreneur, starting a business or anything like that. But if they were, or if I knew somebody, you know, some young kid going through college that wants to start a business, become an entrepreneur, I would absolutely share the episode with them. And if there's any interest in getting in touch with Dave, reach out to us, leave a comment on, on the channel, or if you have our number, whatever, let us know because we would absolutely share Dave's number and contact. And I sure he would be a wealth of information to anybody who's in that position.
[00:26:34] Speaker B: I guarantee he would give you all the time that you would never think would come from somebody like that to help. And really, that's what it's about. And, and if you have a business.
[00:26:44] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:26:45] Speaker B: And you've. You've created something that you would like to share on our show. We would love to have you on
[00:26:49] Speaker A: and happy to know someone who has, you know, you got a friend or a family member who's got a great story and a successful journey to share. That's what this show's about.
[00:26:59] Speaker B: Well, it's a little bit about drinking, too.
[00:27:01] Speaker A: It is. Well, once again, Brad, thanks for hosting. We'll see you next time on Indiana Success Happy Hour. Cheers. Cheers, y'.
[00:27:09] Speaker B: All.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Closing deals and cracking jokes Lenders stall and buyer's ghost we vent, we sip, we laugh we think Real estate makes us drink.
