[00:00:00] Speaker A: I've been told that next year's birthday bash will not be in Cabo San Lucas.
[00:00:05] Speaker B: So sad.
[00:00:06] Speaker A: And I don't know where it's going to be. It's Brian and Brad.
Grab your seat.
Real talk served with a boozy beat.
[00:00:15] Speaker B: Tune in, don't even blink.
[00:00:19] Speaker A: Cause real estate makes us drink.
[00:00:29] Speaker B: Hola, mis amigos.
We are coming to you. We're gonna call it live, but we are coming to you from Cabo San Lucas today.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: What are you drinking today, Brian?
Let's just go right to drinking.
[00:00:45] Speaker B: We are Shaka's Cantina. Shaka Lager. Put that right up to this.
[00:00:50] Speaker A: Put that up there as close as you can.
[00:00:54] Speaker B: I do have a photo of it as well, but Shaka's Lager, which we got at Shaka's Cantina in Saucerrito.
[00:01:02] Speaker A: Cerritos Beach.
[00:01:03] Speaker B: Cerritos beach, yeah.
And of course, Santos. There it is.
[00:01:10] Speaker A: We gotta say thanks for Santo, for
[00:01:12] Speaker B: the crew for hooking us up for
[00:01:14] Speaker A: the birthday bash last night.
[00:01:16] Speaker B: Yep, we will get into that.
[00:01:17] Speaker A: Of course, the great Cabo San Lucas. Behind us in the background, the brand new Ferris wheel, which I don't know that anybody rides that.
[00:01:24] Speaker B: I have yet to see it move. But it lights up.
[00:01:26] Speaker A: It lights up good.
[00:01:27] Speaker B: Looks good.
[00:01:28] Speaker A: And Sammy, who.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: That's the.
[00:01:31] Speaker A: The new shirt here this year. I think it's Sammy Hagar.
[00:01:34] Speaker B: No way. Okay.
[00:01:35] Speaker A: I believe so. Probably so, first trip to Cabo San Lucas. What's it been like for you, first time here?
[00:01:41] Speaker B: You know, it's. I'm not gonna lie. It's very similar to other. Whether it's Caribbean islands or Mexico towns that I have been to. Very similar because it's a vacation destination. So I. I do want to point out, you know, coming here, we had some friends who were like, I hope you guys are going to be okay. Be safe.
[00:02:02] Speaker A: Keep going. I'm listening. We're talking. We're. We're adjusting some microphones as we go.
[00:02:06] Speaker B: There you go. So, you know, they were worried about our safety coming to Mexico because there are some places in Mexico that have a.
I don't know, a bad reputation, I suppose. And I know that you have spoken very highly of this place.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: I can't find those bad places.
[00:02:19] Speaker B: I got to tell you, I.
I have not had a problem. I've not felt unsafe at all. And you know, my wife and I walking around town, it's a tourist destination, so they're going to cater to the tourists. You know, they don't. They don't want to hurt people and drive Them away.
[00:02:34] Speaker A: So I mean, I've got to say I, I want to make sure this is working right. We, there's a lot of background noise, so we're going to do that little thing where you're holding something all the time.
[00:02:42] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:42] Speaker A: That way we go back and forth a little bit.
You know, you've traveled to Guadalajara with me, you've traveled to Tequila with me. My wife and I have been to many destinations throughout Mexico and you know, they talk about being unsafe and really it comes down to not doing stupid.
[00:02:59] Speaker B: That's a very good point.
[00:03:00] Speaker A: And you know, every place that I've gone through that my travels over the last several years, I've never felt unsafe thing.
But like you, you came to Guadalajara with me. It's a very big city, like 8.9 million or 9 million people. Did you feel unsafe there?
[00:03:16] Speaker B: No, we weren't there very long ago. Like in Guadalajara. We were not there long.
[00:03:19] Speaker A: And then in Tequila.
[00:03:20] Speaker B: No, not at all. Never. Yeah.
[00:03:22] Speaker A: So if you're going to come to these towns, just don't do stupid. Just.
Yeah, you know, just be you and be right. Like these, these sounds are amazing. The people are amazing.
[00:03:34] Speaker B: So I will say, you know, in the places that I have been in Mexico, people have all been very kind no matter where you go.
[00:03:40] Speaker A: I agree with that.
So we, we got the opportunity to go see Sammy Hagar play inside the Cabo Wabo Cantina, which not a lot of people get that opportunity. That's a, there's 700 people at a show. Seven, 800 people to show. There's three shows a year, 79 years old here. In a couple days when this comes out and you post this, he'll be over 79 years old. What do you think of 79 year old Sammy Hagar?
[00:04:05] Speaker B: Dude, I like, give me this.
So A, I had no idea what to expect. You know, from where we are at our hotel, I cannot see Cabo Wabo. So I didn't know if I'm looking at, you know, whether I was going to Deer Creek or Ruoff, whatever you want to call it, you know, is this a large venue that seats thousands of people?
It could be a bar with a stage. Who the hell knows? Well, it's kind of in between and more bar with the stage than it is anything. Yeah, it is a large club, but there are no seats in there. So we had to kind of manufacture seats on a ledge, which worked out great. But everybody just stands there for. Well, the show is about an hour and a half.
People were let in hour and A half before the show started. So for three hours, these people are all just standing around, air conditioning not working all that great. So we're kind of sweating, Sharon sweat.
[00:05:01] Speaker A: Drinks were flowing, though.
[00:05:02] Speaker B: Drinks were flowing. And the.
Once the guys took the stage, the vibe was great.
And to think that he's up there at 79 years old, just absolutely rocket, like, playing the guitar, singing. And he. He has such a. A distinct voice that at the age of 79, I can't believe still functions.
[00:05:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:24] Speaker B: Super impressive. Now, being a drummer or, sorry, dad of a drummer, watching Kenny Aaronoff, who
[00:05:33] Speaker A: is 73 himself, in my opinion, the best drummer. The drummer of drummers. He's absolutely amazing.
[00:05:39] Speaker B: I sent a couple of videos to my drum playing son, and I was like, this is incredible. Just. It's amazing. And so just to. To see what they can do and the rocking out and I'm gonna say the cult, like, following that Sammy Hagar.
And that was impressive.
Little scary.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: I think I knew a few people that came in the door. Yeah, that's cool.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: Brad's like, you know, a minor celebrity around here, or, you know, he'll walk around and talk to a lot of people like, oh, hey, I haven't seen. I haven't seen you in a while. Good to see you.
So that was funny to see too. And so, you know, it's a great show and I'm glad we had the opportunity. So, as you said at the beginning, thanks to Santo for getting us in there and checking it out.
[00:06:25] Speaker A: Yeah, Santo Tequila really hooked us up with making sure that we had tickets available.
Dave Sidlick, the. The CEO, is just such an amazing guy and really excited about promoting the brand and helping us promote the brand, which is awesome. Now, when we got here a couple days before, we got to hang out at a really fun club called Sancho's on Friday, raising money for adln, which is a orphanage charity that helps all kinds of medical things for children here in the area. And while Bill and I did three shows and we raised over 217,000 patients.
Not three social. No, one in Chicago, one in Indy, and one here. And what'd you think of the show? Of coming to hang out at Sancho's?
[00:07:07] Speaker B: So it was cool.
Honestly, I was surprised at the music you played just because I've heard you play so many other things. You were very country focused, though. You often are, but still.
And again, small bar.
How many people fit in there?
[00:07:27] Speaker A: Four? I don't know. I don't know.
[00:07:29] Speaker B: It's a little more than that.
[00:07:30] Speaker A: We pack a Whole bunch.
[00:07:32] Speaker B: There may have been 50 people in there, but it was tight, but it was cool. And I, I got to give huge credit to the servers there.
You played for three and a half hours, which credit to you and Wild Bill for that. But they were just zipping around that place like crazy. I don't know how the hell they knew what we were ordering and how they figured all that out. Kudos to them. Very cool vibe it was, you know, and I gotta give credit to you guys. You together raised 200, 000 pesos.
[00:07:58] Speaker A: 217, 000 pesos in three shows. That's like $15,000 that went to two charities, one ADLN and the other Cabo Kids, which feeds kids here in Cabo San Lucas. And it's really about giving back to people.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: We.
[00:08:13] Speaker A: I feel like I take a lot from this region.
Their hospitality, their food, their. Their water, their tequila, obviously. But to be able to help some people here is really important.
And while Bill brought me in, this was the fifth year of being able to do this show. And we have a great time doing it. A lot of fun, A lot of great people come and hang out.
[00:08:33] Speaker B: And how did you get hooked up with this charity? I feel like it's connected to Sammy Hagar somehow.
[00:08:38] Speaker A: So the charity itself is part of the Redheads. So today we actually spent our day at Cerritos beach at. At our buddy Brando's at Shakas. That's the Shakas beer.
He really started working with ADLN before I knew who they were. Today we were there for a huge raffle of. I mean, how much, how many things do they raffle off? And they had a guitar and Cabo Scotty, which is a doctor from St. Louis, his son actually.
What did they say? 96 hours.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: 96 hours.
[00:09:08] Speaker A: 3D printed a guitar, an amazing, like, red rocker logger guitar.
And so many people donate things. And Sammy Hagar signs a lot of stuff and donates a lot of stuff so we can raise as much money as possible. So Brando in this group, put this together. My buddy Wild Bill and his daughter Kaylee or Kylie. Kaylee or Kylie. You can yell at me later. They. They've played this for years.
And then she kind of grew up. She got a family of her own. She couldn't come down anymore. My buddy Steve Clegg, Scuba Steve, he's like, hey, you need to meet, you know, Wild Bill, we call him Disco Bill. And he's like, brad brings a guitar all the time and plays at the pool. You guys got to meet and that's how we met. And I said, hell, yeah, I'll come play a charity show. And that was five years ago. And really, it's. It's about raising money. It's just like we do within and what we do in Tequila Town and raising money for the people. So it's a really fun time to hang out. This year, we actually was a little shorter of a show. We only played, I think they say, three and a half hours. Last year, we played for over five hours. The year before, four and a half hours.
This time, it was on a show night, so a lot of people bailed to head to the show. So it's really just about hanging out, trying to have some fun, playing some funny songs, some country music, some rock and roll. Bill dived into this awesome section of 70 songs for, like, I let him go for what, five or six songs? I just. Yeah, I was tired.
[00:10:38] Speaker B: Well, you were walking around saying, my fingers hurt.
[00:10:40] Speaker A: My fingers hurt. They felt like hamburger. We were trying to pass the bucket around, and I maybe may have or may not have drank up more than 3, 3/4 of a bottle of tequila there.
[00:10:52] Speaker B: So he may have nothing. He did.
[00:10:54] Speaker A: I drink a lot of water. Had a lot of water, though.
[00:10:57] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:10:57] Speaker A: So great time raising money, playing some music, having fun. And Bill, you know, kind of brought me into this thing, and I'm really glad that he did. And we've been doing this whole cabo hangout since 2003. So over 20 years of coming down to this amazing place. If you've never been here, I hate to say come, because so many people do, and it makes it harder for other people to come. We kind of give away the secrets of these great places, but come to Cabo San Lucas. Hang out here and come during October, hang out with Sammy Hagar, and really, you know, see if you can come to one of our charity shows and help some people out.
[00:11:30] Speaker B: Switching gears.
Cabo.
One of the cooler experiences I feel that we had was Mango Deck.
On Saturday, we went. My wife wanted to go to the beach, and so I was like, all right, cool. I'd love to watch the IU game if possible.
So we found a beachside bar called Mango Deck, which is along a strip of bars and restaurants and, you know, touristy stuff along the beach.
[00:11:56] Speaker A: The only swimmable part of the beach.
[00:11:58] Speaker B: There you go. That is correct. Yeah, it is hard to find that.
And my. I guess my favorite part was my wife could go float out in the ocean. I could sit up in the bar watching football, and I could look out in the ocean and see her to make sure she wasn't floating off into, you know, Never Never Land. Right.
And she could come out. And I did this too. I did go in the water, but she could come inside. Swimsuit doesn't need to towel off, doesn't need to put on shoes. They didn't require shirts for, you know, myself.
It's a beach bar. It was great. And they had activities going on. They did a movie contest.
[00:12:34] Speaker A: Which you guys won, right?
That's right when we got there.
[00:12:37] Speaker B: And two for one drinks and tons of food. It's ginormous place and a great vibe. And they had college football games on, so we got to watch the IU game.
[00:12:47] Speaker A: Let me give it up for Vacation Brian, because Vacation Brian did something differently that he wouldn't have done at home.
[00:12:53] Speaker B: Very true.
[00:12:54] Speaker A: You had some tuna shashimi, which was.
The shashimi here is so good. The tuna is just off the charts. And you had a California ceviche roll.
[00:13:06] Speaker B: Correct.
[00:13:06] Speaker A: Which was really good as well. I think. I think you enjoyed that.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: Yeah, it's fine.
[00:13:10] Speaker A: So the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, the fun, the. The people doing shots and chasing around. But when they started blowing the whistles. Yeah, I had to go. There's these. One of the things they do here is actually.
[00:13:23] Speaker B: It's not just here. I've seen.
[00:13:25] Speaker A: Yeah, they do it. They do the resort thing.
[00:13:27] Speaker B: You get a hot young lady walking around, maybe with a referee shirt on or something. She's got a whistle, and she's getting people to do shots. Pouring it directly in your mouth, shaking your head around.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: They put your head in their boobs.
[00:13:38] Speaker B: Exactly. Just blowing the whistle instead. Incessantly.
[00:13:41] Speaker A: Yeah. It got really loud. And I'm like, okay, I'm. I. I gotta go. I needed to go do a loan or something. That's right. I was like, I gotta go do a mortgage. And I think that's what I did. I came back here and put together a mortgage loan. Did you do any real estate while you were here?
[00:13:54] Speaker B: A little bit. Yeah.
[00:13:55] Speaker A: We.
[00:13:56] Speaker B: I was dealing with some inspection stuff while I was here. So, you know, we do work on vacation.
[00:14:00] Speaker A: Let's throw that in a little bit.
[00:14:02] Speaker B: How.
[00:14:02] Speaker A: How is the real estate world right now? While we're in Cabo this. This week in October? What's real estate look like back in Indiana?
[00:14:10] Speaker B: I don't actually know because other than the deals I'm working on, there's no new deals.
[00:14:16] Speaker A: Not a lot of new.
[00:14:17] Speaker B: There's really very, very little activity on my end.
[00:14:20] Speaker A: Well, interest rate Wise, we're going to say that they're as high as the people here in Cabo.
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Damn it. High humidity here.
[00:14:30] Speaker A: Oh, dude, the humidity this year has been off the charts. We've had Hurricane Rachel.
If you could jump on and look at the. The graphics on AccuWeather for Hurricane Rachel, that looks fantastic because it's making a U turn and heading back to America right now.
[00:14:47] Speaker B: Perfect.
[00:14:47] Speaker A: Then we had Hurricane Simon, which is south of us, but it's not coming here.
[00:14:51] Speaker B: That's mainland.
[00:14:53] Speaker A: Yeah. So we're gonna miss that. But the humidity, the waves and the heat, like 89, 90 every day.
[00:14:59] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:59] Speaker A: And usually when you're here, it's not humid at all. But, man, I'm telling you, we've been sweating like.
Like it's illegal. How bad?
[00:15:09] Speaker B: We've been sweating like you had talked. One of the things we had talked about coming in here was what you can't see. Behind us beyond the Ferris wheel is a three mile hike to the top of a hill, right?
[00:15:23] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:24] Speaker B: And it's awesome elevation here, higher than Indiana. And the talk was that we were going to.
One morning, he and his wife, me and my wife, were going to walk to the top of the hill and then walk the three miles back down.
With the amount of walking that Stephanie and I have done just around town,
[00:15:42] Speaker A: you blew that off. Right.
[00:15:43] Speaker B: And the sweating that's involved with all of the walking in this humidity. I said to Steph a couple days ago, go, we ain't walking with Brad and Tony.
[00:15:52] Speaker A: You know, I got to say, we've done a lot of walking. I pulled up a three mile run one day, a three mile run, a second day, a four mile run the other night. My son Blake has done a four mile, a six mile, a seven mile, a three mile.
[00:16:04] Speaker B: Like we've still got running up to the hill.
[00:16:07] Speaker A: Yeah, we've got our activities in, but you're right, the heat.
But I will say I haven't lost any weight because, well, there's a lot of overeating here.
[00:16:16] Speaker B: Oh, a lot of that. Well, especially for you because you're normally a one meal a day guy back home.
[00:16:20] Speaker A: Maybe breakfast, lunch and supper.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: You're welcome.
[00:16:23] Speaker A: And what do you think about the french fries in Cabo San Lucas?
[00:16:27] Speaker B: They're good.
[00:16:28] Speaker A: They're not. They're not like I am.
[00:16:29] Speaker B: I'm over the moon about the french fries by them. For me, they're just fries.
[00:16:33] Speaker A: I think the french fries have been amazing. So, man, I want to say thanks for doing this trip with us. I. I don't invite a lot of people on trips to Cabo.
We've invited friends in the past.
We've had good experiences, like Fred and Peggy. They've came down with, we have a great time. We've invited some other people that maybe it didn't turn out as good as what we really had hoped to. So my wife's like, no more inviting people.
So I quit inviting people. But I really felt like it'd be really cool if you could, you know, one, see the birthday bash because it's something that very few people get to see.
[00:17:09] Speaker B: And for as long as I've known you, for the last five years, I've heard about this every year. It's like, A, my wife and I have wanted to go to Cabo, talked about it.
B, hearing you talk about it and hype it up, it's like, okay, we need to get this going. So the opportunity worked out well.
[00:17:24] Speaker A: And, you know, Sammy's 79 years old this year. He's turned 79 here. In a couple days, he'll do another show. I've been told that next year's birthday bash will not be in Cabo San Lucas.
[00:17:36] Speaker B: So sad.
[00:17:36] Speaker A: And I don't know where it's going to be. They didn't say, you know, here's the location or here's what's going to take place. But if you think about what happened, you got three nights. The 9th, the 11th, and the 13th are three shows. You got 700 people to 800 people for each show.
[00:17:52] Speaker B: And he play. He showed up for a free concert.
[00:17:55] Speaker A: He did a free show on the 7th. Yeah, with Vic. They did a couple nights or a couple shows the first night, but they said 78,000 people tried to get tickets online. Yeah, 78,000 people for really 2,800 seats.
[00:18:09] Speaker B: Right.
[00:18:10] Speaker A: So maybe the 80th will be held someplace where more people. More people can enjoy it. I. I'm not opposed to that. I love coming to Cabo, and seeing Sammy here is really an iconic thing. This is a really freaking cool thing we've been doing since 2003.
And there's been a lot of iterations of this town and changes and some great shows and some changes in the show over the years. But, you know, you just got to go with the flow. If something changes, something changes. And how cool is that? Right?
[00:18:40] Speaker B: You know, I feel like Cabo is a great destination, and I think probably was before he started doing the birthday bash. But I feel Sammy has a lot to do with the popularity of Cabo.
[00:18:55] Speaker A: Oh, absolutely.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: Even outside of the birthday time. You know, he kind of put it on the map.
[00:19:00] Speaker A: Yeah, Sammy totally was the guy that put this on the map. You go back to 1992, when MTV had the very first giveaway for people to come down here and see Van Halen play at the Cabo Wabo Cantina. That was like a huge thing, you know, nationwide mtv. And Van Halen was, you know, in their prime. And nobody knew what Cabo was. Back in 2003, it was a, you know, almost a dirt road into town. There was, There was a McDonald's and there was a Domino's and there was a Dunkin Donuts and, and that was it. There was no Walmart, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Cadillac. You know, there was. This place was a sleepy little fishing village. Today, not so much. You know, there's the, the 36 of the world's billionaires live or have a home here in this area. And you know, it's a dual lane freeway and, and there's a bypass. Like when we first came, it was a one lane road and, and at the, the dry riverbed, there wasn't even a bridge that our, our truck went down through the riverbed. My wife were like, what did we get ourselves into? Like, it was like such this small place. And if you go back to 1992, like, that's even crazy. But there's an amazing history in this town. You go all the way back to the, where the Playa Playa Grande is over on the Pacific. Keith Richard married his wife here back in the early 90s. So this was a place where Frank Sinatra and some of the Rolling Stones and people like disappeared down here because nobody came here. Sammy did what I do.
Dude, you got to visit. This place is awesome. He ruined it for everybody. Like now everybody came.
So yeah, he has a, a big part of what, what has happened here and the growth that's happened here and it, I mean, it's a great place to come. If you've never been to Cabo San Lucas, you got to jump on a flight.
[00:20:53] Speaker B: You told me a story last night when we were at, at the concert waiting about how Sammy with Van Halen and how they all put money into the bar here.
[00:21:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, okay.
[00:21:08] Speaker B: And it's a really good story.
[00:21:10] Speaker A: So if you go all the way back to the early days when Sammy first came here, he met Jorge, which is currently one of his partners. Today you met Jorge at the club.
So Jorge and Sammy. Jorge was a bartender and Sammy really liked his vibe and he was such a hard worker. And when you're going to open a business here as an American, you got to have a partner that's Mexican.
[00:21:31] Speaker B: Okay?
[00:21:31] Speaker A: Which is so funny, right? You come to America, your Mexican guy comes to America, gets a job, right? If you're an American, you come here, you want to open a business, you have to prove you're not going to steal a job from a Mexican. So you have to. You have to partner with one. And Jorge was his partner, and they started the club, Jorge and Marco.
And so when they started this club, they. They got the whole band excited. Michael Anthony, Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony, Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, they all got involved, and they were all partners in this club.
But the problem was, is the first thing they did was when they started laying out the size of the club, there was a little miscommunication between kilometers.
Kilometers. Meters. Feet. Yeah, meters and feet.
So Sammy had this idea, and instead of it being 10,000 square feet, it was 10,000 meters.
So it was a much bigger club than what was imagined. So, of course, a lot more expense and construction here is a little different than in America.
[00:22:34] Speaker B: It's a little slower.
[00:22:35] Speaker A: It's a little slower. Say it runs on beach time or island time. So after they had spent all this money to build the club, it. It didn't make money? No, there was this huge expense. So the.
[00:22:46] Speaker B: The.
[00:22:47] Speaker A: If you read Sammy's book and you. You listen to some of the interviews, the. The Van Halen brothers were pissed off about it. It was losing money, so they bailed. They wanted their money back. So Sammy bought each partner back out of the club. So it was Marco, Sammy, and Jorge. That was it.
And then it blew up. And then Sammy also created a tequila to go with the club. The Cabo Wabo Tequila made, actually where this Santo tequila is made. NOM 1107 Elvi to in Atatanico, in the highlands of Jalisco.
And the tequila took off, and Cabo Wabo blew up. The club blew up. It became very, very profitable. And the Van Halen brothers were pissed. They thought that he bought them out on purpose, but he bought them out when it wasn't making money. So they told Sammy, you're not allowed to wear anything that says Cobble Wobble on any of our tours.
No T shirts. You can't bring out a bottle. So what'd he do? He got a fantastic Cabo Wabo tattoo on his arm. And Cabo Waba was always right here on every show. And if you look at how the club grew after that, it's pretty amazing. Of course, he sold Cabo wabo tequila for $120 million, which is peanuts. Like we say, it's a lot of money, but if you think of what Richard Gerber and George Clooney did with Casamigos, they built a tequila bread in nine months and sold it for 1 billion dol.
Sammy got peanuts out of it, right?
So, you know, he built a great business.
It's, it's hung around for a long time. I'm sure it's weathered some, some storms if you will. Some hurricanes, some good economic times, some bad economic times. But you've seen it. Place is freaking packed. People are excited to be here.
[00:24:31] Speaker B: Cool joint.
[00:24:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:32] Speaker B: And now there's Santo Tequila.
[00:24:34] Speaker A: Santo Tequila.
[00:24:35] Speaker B: Red rocker lager.
[00:24:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:38] Speaker B: Coming out of Michigan show last night, which in my opinion is the best beer I have had here in Cabo.
[00:24:43] Speaker A: No kidding.
[00:24:44] Speaker B: For real? Yeah.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: And then you got Sammy's Beach Bar Rum, which he's partnered with 70 year old partner Rick Springfield who came out in indie, took off his T shirt, played guitar, sang, and you'd have thought the guy was 35 freaking years old. And I'll say, look, if you haven't listened to the interview with Rick Springfield and Joe Rogan where he talks about his fitness and all of his regiment to stay looking like he does, and Joe Rogan who's, you know, a pretty buff guy going, dude, you look amazing. And my wife was like, whoa, like you look freaking amazing at 70 plus years old and did a great job. So that's another partner with Sammy, with Sammy's Beach Bar Rum. Rick Springfield. Sammy's first number one song was a Rick Springfield song, your love is driving me crazy, which he sang last night and killed it. So, yeah, pretty, pretty freaking awesome.
[00:25:37] Speaker B: All right, well, Brad, thanks for the invitation here to Cabo. Glad we could spend this time together.
My wife and I head home tomorrow, which is long before this will ever be on YouTube. But yeah, thanks, man.
[00:25:51] Speaker A: Dude, thanks for all of this. Like, I gotta say thank you for telling me to do the tequila content because one, none of this stuff would have happened.
We would have never got Santo to give us tickets to go to the show. I would have not been to Mexico 20 times in the last, you know, 12 months or less. And I just, I gotta say thanks. Thanks for your friendship.
One, I like doing loans with you, you know, as a realtor. You do. We, we work well together. But as a friend, I really appreciate you like putting up with all my crazy and my wild antics and my nutso. Politics and then just hanging out and having a great time. So thanks for doing that. I appreciate you. Love you.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: Awesome. Where's this?
All right, well, cheers to you, my friend. Cheers to all of you out there. And adios.
[00:26:37] Speaker A: Thanks for watching. Cheers, everybody.
